About Musicanta Minor

The Musicanta Minor updated syllabus will be in use as of January 2019.  It contains all the activities from 2015 to 2018, put into a detailed syllabus for teachers' use.  All activities have been carefully selected to optimize preschoolers' learning experience.

Musicanta Minor was created by Chagné Compaan, the owner of Musicanta - The Music School.  Chagné studied a Bachelors Degree in Music (BMus) at the University of South Africa, as well as some psychology subjects relating to child development, alongside this music degree.  With the use of these two fields of study, a preschool music program was first developed on an informal, experimental level, after which a formal syllabus has been created during 2018, to be used from 2019 onward.
